There are three things that every child loves:

*David, because no child can remain indifferent after seeing Michelangelo’s masterpiece.
*Gelato, because no child can resist this delicious treat.
*Imagination, because children can travel with their minds better than anyone else.

This tour is a journey through art, taste, and creativity, turning a visit to the Accademia Gallery into an unforgettable adventure.

MEETING MICHELANGELO’S GIANT

Our first stop is the Accademia Gallery, where kids will come face to face with David, the most famous statue in the world!

Through stories, fun facts, and interactive games, we’ll discover:

*How Michelangelo carved David from a massive block of marble.
* Why David is considered a hero and what makes him so special.
* Hidden details that even adults might miss!

After meeting Michelangelo’s masterpiece, we’ll take a stroll through the streets of Florence, uncovering the secrets and stories behind both the statue and its creator.

A DELICIOUS BREAK: ARTISAN GELATO!

After all these discoveries, it’s time for a well-deserved break at a real artisan gelateria, where we’ll enjoy some of the best gelato in town!

* Why was the modern gelato recipe invented in Florence?
* What makes artisan gelato different from industrial ice cream?

Between tasting and laughing, we’ll learn that gelato-making is an art, just like sculpture!

THE LITTLE ARTISTS OF THE ACCADEMIA

After meeting Michelangelo and his David, it’s time for the kids to become artists themselves!

Did you know that in Florence, all art begins with drawing?
In 1563, Grand Duke Cosimo I de’ Medici and the artist Giorgio Vasari founded the first Academy of Arts and Drawing, where painters and sculptors learned their craft by starting with sketches.

To become true “academics,” the children will need to show off their artistic skills!

Each young participant will receive a Special Artist Kit, designed just for this tour.

  •  Using colors, paper, and special materials, the kids will create their own mini-masterpieces, inspired by the incredible art they’ve seen.
  • No perfect drawing skills required… just creativity and fun!

A hands-on experience that lets children live and breathe art, bringing home not just memories, but their very own masterpiece!
